SissWrap™ Full Leg Boot is designed for a resting, plug-in light session. Prepare a comfortable seat, align the light-facing area with the leg region you want to cover and choose the intensity and timer using your unit's controls.
The current product guidance recommends 20–30 minutes per session. That is this model's guidance—not a universal dose for every red light device.
Plan the seat and power connection first
Choose a dry location with a stable seat and a suitable outlet. Arrange the power lead so it is not trapped, strained or across a walkway. Plug-in operation is part of the design; this is not a cordless boot you need to charge before each session.
Gather what you need before fitting it, so you do not have to stand and walk around wearing the connected boot. A light-care session should be an easy period of rest, not a balance exercise.
Fit the boot to the intended area
- Open the wrap. Identify the light-emitting side and the sections that will sit around your leg.
- Settle the foot and lower leg. Align the intended area with the light-facing surface rather than leaving folded material between the emitters and target.
- Secure a comfortable fit. The fastening holds position; it is not a pressure-treatment setting.
- Check the whole setup. Make sure the leg is supported and the controller remains reachable.
Verify actual coverage on your body. Your foot, calf and knee should be considered separately when checking alignment. Do not infer full exposure from the product name alone or pull the wrap tightly simply to reach a farther area.
Use the timer as a boundary
Set the session within the published 20–30-minute guidance and select an intensity appropriate to your supplied instructions and comfort. A higher setting or a longer session is not automatically a better recovery choice.
Keep the first comparison simple: the same intended area, a repeatable position and a known setting. There is no need to combine settings from a clinical laser study with the controls on this product.
What should the session feel like?
This is light-based care, not a pneumatic compression cycle. Do not wait for inflation or repeatedly tighten it to create a squeeze. If you want pressure-based recovery, use the compression-versus-light guide to choose the correct category.
Stop if the fit or session becomes uncomfortable. Afterward, switch off and disconnect as directed before removing or storing the product. Keep electrical parts dry and use the model's cleaning guidance rather than treating the boot like a washable sock.
Place it inside a recovery routine
Light care offers a different input from training or repeated massage. The muscle-recovery evidence guide explains what PBM studies measure; a stable resting session makes the home routine easier to keep consistent.
After running, complete the ordinary food, fluid and comfort tasks first, then use the post-run routine to decide where the session fits. A boot session should not postpone sleep or replace a sensible next-workout decision.
When to ask for setup help
If a controller response, connection or fit does not match your supplied instructions, contact SISSILUX with the model and a description of the issue. Do not compensate for a suspected setup problem by extending the session. Clear model information is more useful than comparing the controls with another brand's boot.
