A good hand-massage break starts before you press a button. When the device is within reach and your arm can rest, it is easier to settle into the warmth and pressure instead of holding an awkward position.

Set up your first session

  1. Prepare the device. Charge and operate it according to the supplied manual. Check that the lining is clean and dry. Remove rings and other items that could create pressure points.
  2. Choose a stable surface. Place it beside a comfortable seat. Support your forearm so your shoulder can relax and your wrist stays in a natural position.
  3. Position your hand. Follow the model's insertion illustration. Let your fingers rest naturally; do not force a tight fit.
  4. Start gently. Choose the lowest comfortable intensity. Let yourself feel the pressure cycle before deciding whether you want a change.
  5. Add warmth deliberately. Select the warming function according to the model's controls. Aim for pleasant warmth; stronger heat is not the target.
  6. Finish using the controls. Follow the manual's stopping and removal sequence. Let the pressure release before withdrawing your hand, then switch hands if appropriate for your model and routine.

Change one setting at a time

Intensity and mode do different jobs. Intensity changes the firmness of the squeeze; mode changes its sequence. If you change both at once, it is harder to work out which adjustment you enjoyed.

First find a comfortable pressure. Then explore a different pattern if you want to. With SissGlove™ Classic, the three massage modes and five intensity levels give you choices without needing to use every combination.

How long should a session last?

Use the session duration and frequency in the instructions supplied with your particular model. Timers and programs vary, so a setting recommended for another brand should not become your default. Do not repeatedly restart a device just to make a session longer.

The useful habit is a comfortable, deliberate break. Keep the device where you already sit down to relax, and let the routine fit the time and settings specified for it.

Small adjustments that make setup easier

Adjust the setup before adding intensity
What you notice What to change
Your shoulder stays raised Move the device closer or adjust the support under your forearm.
Pressure catches on a ring Stop, remove jewelry and reposition before restarting.
The squeeze feels too firm Reduce intensity; stop if contact remains uncomfortable.
Your hand is forced into position Stop and check the fit and insertion instructions.
You cannot identify a setting Use the model’s control diagram before continuing.

Stop if the session causes pain, increased tingling or uncomfortable heat. If you have reduced sensation, ask your clinician about heated compression before using it. Keep liquids away from the controls and follow the model's cleaning instructions.
